Answers to Lost People

1. There is no god.

Ps 14:1 ¶To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.>> The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Ps 19:1 ¶ <> The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Ps 10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

2. The Bible is merely myths written by men.

2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2Pe 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

3. I’ll get to heaven my way.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Joh 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

4. I’m not a sinner. I’m a good person.

1Jo 1:8 ¶ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Ec 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.

Ro 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

5. Jesus is just a man, no more and no less.

Php 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Joh 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

6. I don’t need to go to church.

Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Ac 2:42 ¶ And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

7. I’ll live my life as I please. I’ll do things my way.

Pr 14:12 ¶ There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Mt 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

8. I don’t believe in heaven or hell.

Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Re 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

9. We are the result of evolution.

Ps 139:13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Mr 10:5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.
6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.

Thanks for visiting my blog, and for your kind comment on the Fighting Fundamental Forums. It's good to see others sticking to the "old paths".

By the way, would you mind updating your link to my blog? The new domain is www.youngfundamentalists.com (I dropped the blogspot). Thanks!

These are great Scriptures that tell us about lost people who make these claims but as answers for lost people they are irrelevant. Lost people are not spiritually minded about these things and therefore all of this Scripture is foolishness to them.

What kind of answers can you give that would be relevant to someone who is not spiritually minded?
